Notifications collect review activity that needs your attention across the teams and workspaces you can access. This includes mentions, which name you in a comment, replies, and assigned reviews that make you responsible for review work.
Read and open notifications
The unread count shows how many delivered items you have not marked read. Open Notifications to see each event and follow it to the related artifact or comment. Opening an item takes you to its destination and updates its read state where the product indicates.
Use Mark as read when you have handled an item without opening its destination. Clearing notifications is different: it removes them from your notification list. Confirm a clear action when prompted. Clearing does not resolve the review thread, which is the original comment and all its replies.
Access changes
A notification does not preserve access. If you can no longer access the artifact's workspace, the destination may not open. The access error does not reveal private owner, recipient, or artifact details. Ask a workspace manager about access if you still need the work.
What notifications do not do
- They do not grant artifact or workspace access.
- Marking one read does not resolve a review comment.
- Clearing an item does not delete the comment, assignment, or artifact.
- Notification state is personal; it does not mark another person's items read.
