Claim an artifact your agent made

An AI sent you a link. Here is what to do with it.

What you are looking at

The claim page shows the artifact itself, live, plus a banner telling you three things: which AI made it, that anyone with the link can open it right now, and how long is left before it disappears.

You can read it without claiming. Claiming is what makes it yours.

The claim page, from a fresh anonymous artifact

Steps

  1. Open the link. The artifact renders immediately. No account needed to look.
  2. Select Claim this. If you want to read first, View without claiming does that, and the countdown keeps running.
  3. Create your account. Continue with Google, or a magic link. Free, no card. Your team is created with it, so there is nothing to choose — the artifact lands there.
  4. Decide about the agent. Confirm its name and capabilities, or claim without connecting it. See Grant agent access while claiming.
  5. Done. The artifact is in your team, editable, and no longer expiring.

There is nothing to ask your AI. If you granted it access, it finds out on its own within about half a minute.

If something is off

"Not signed in" on a private artifact. The artifact was shared with a specific address. Sign in with that address.

"This was shared with someone else." You are signed in as an account the artifact was not sent to. Switch accounts, or request access. AgentGrid.io does not reveal who it was sent to, or whether it exists at all. See Request access.

"This has expired." Nobody claimed it inside the window and the content was removed. Ask for a fresh link.

Limits

  • The claim window is 24 hours from creation, not from when you opened the link.
  • Claiming without granting agent access ends that waiting connection. The AI can still be connected later, through the connector or plug-in, or an agent invite.

FAQ

Do I need an account before I open the link? No. You make one as part of claiming.

I already have an account and several teams. Where does it land? Claiming is built for someone arriving without an account, so it lands in the team you sign in to. If you need it somewhere else afterwards, duplicate it there — artifacts do not move between teams. See Switch teams.

What if I only want to read it? Use View without claiming. The countdown keeps running, so claim before it ends if you want to keep it.

Is claiming reversible? The artifact is yours. You can delete it, which is not reversible.

How do I stop getting these links at all? Connect your AI — the connector or plug-in for Claude and ChatGPT, or npx @animaapp/cli@latest login for a coding agent. Work from a connected AI lands in your team directly. See How agents connect.
