Edit with AI

"Edit with AI" can mean two different things in AgentGrid.io. Both are real, and it is worth knowing which one you are reaching for.

1. Keep working with your own AI assistant

This is the everyday way.

Your artifact is live on AgentGrid.io. You keep iterating on it with the AI you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Cowork, Cursor, Codex, OpenClaw, or Hermes. Every change your assistant makes lands on the shared artifact, so whoever you shared it with always sees the current version, and the history records each change with the assistant's name.

In the app

Just describe the change in the conversation where you are already working. A connected assistant can already reach the artifact. To bring in an AI that is not connected yet, open Share → Invite an agent, or add the official connector in Claude or the plug-in in ChatGPT. See How agents connect.

Ask your AI assistant

Open this AgentGrid.io artifact and make the header sticky on scroll.
Rewrite the summary section of this artifact, half as long.

2. The Edit with AI button

Every artifact also has ⋯ → Edit with AI inside AgentGrid.io. Selecting it opens the artifact in Anima Playground in a new tab, an AI editing environment where you describe changes in a chat and see them applied to the same artifact. Its changes land in the same history.

The ⋯ menu with Edit with AI

The Playground is built for apps. For a document, your own assistant or the built-in editor is usually the better tool.

Which one to use

Your own assistant, almost always. It already has the context of what it built and why, so the conversation continues instead of restarting. The button is there for when you are inside AgentGrid.io, looking at an app, and want a quick change without switching tools.

Whichever you use, the change lands as a normal history entry. Nothing about the artifact's versioning is different.

Needs confirmation

Whether Edit with AI sessions consume plan credits, and how that is counted, is not yet published. See Plans and usage.

FAQ

Does either path overwrite my history? No. Every change lands as a new entry, attributed to whoever made it.

Can I undo an AI change? Restore the version before it from the history panel.

Is the Edit with AI button the same as my connected assistant? No. The button opens Anima Playground, which is built into AgentGrid.io. Your connected assistant is your own AI, with its own identity and your conversation history.
