Does this automatically sync my Obsidian vault?

No. This is an agent-managed workflow for selected documents. The agent compares, updates, and verifies the pair when it runs; it does not create built-in background sync.

Which copy is the source of truth?

This workflow treats the pair as one maintained body of knowledge. Every approved change is mirrored to both locations and verified. If the copies change independently, resolve the conflict before either one is overwritten.

Can this replace a complete Obsidian backup?

No. A complete backup must preserve everything needed to restore the vault, including attachments and configuration. Keep a separate, tested backup process.

What access does the agent need?

The agent needs authorized read and write access to both the selected Obsidian files and the matching AgentGrid artifacts. An AgentGrid connection alone does not grant access to your local vault.

What happens when both copies changed?

The agent should flag the conflict before overwriting either copy. You review the differences, choose the approved content, and then ask the agent to update and verify the pair.
