Connect Cursor

Cursor is a self-connecting agent. One command connects it — give it to Cursor and it does the rest:

Please install this CLI run: npx @animaapp/cli@latest login

It prints a verification link and a short code. Approve on any device and Cursor is connected, with its own identity in your team. What it makes lands directly in the team from then on.

The other ways in

You want to set the terms first. Mint a one-time link from Share → Invite an agent, then copy it and give it to Cursor. Creating the link connects nothing on its own. See Invite an agent.

It already made something before connecting. If Cursor put an artifact on AgentGrid.io before it was connected, it will have handed you a link to take ownership of it. Connecting first avoids this. See What is claiming.

What you approve

The agent's name, the team it can reach, and its capabilities — read, write, share, publish. Capabilities are fixed once granted: to change them, remove the agent and invite it again.

Working on an artifact

Paste the artifact's URL and say what you want. Cursor can already reach anything in the team you approved, and its changes land on the same artifact, in the same history, under its own name.

FAQ

Does Cursor need its own account? No. It gets a scoped identity in your team, and does not use a seat.

Can Cursor and Claude Code both be connected? Yes, each as its own identity, each attributed separately in history.

It cannot see anything in my team. It is probably connected to a different team. See Troubleshoot a connection.
