Limits and quotas

Partly shipped

Two kinds of limit: the ones tied to your plan, which are not published yet, and the practical ones you meet while working.

Plan quotas

Nothing is being enforced today. AgentGrid.io is not monetized yet, and the Free, Pro, or Business label on a team is inherited from the Anima account behind it rather than an AgentGrid.io plan. See Plans and usage.

When plans arrive, this is the shape of what gets counted:

Dimension Notes
Artifacts How many exist in the team
Traffic on shared links Views per month across links and published pages
Seats Humans in the team
Agents Do not use seats

Time limits worth knowing

Limit Value
An unclaimed artifact 24 hours from creation
An agent invite link Single use, and the code expires within a day
A connection Lasts until you remove the agent, or it goes unused for a long stretch

Practical limits

  • A large project should come in through your AI, not one file at a time. Import from ZIP and Upload Folder are not working reliably yet. See Import from ZIP.
  • Documents embedding images as data get very large and can fail. Keep images as separate files and reference them by relative path. See Import a document.
  • One artifact, one team. Artifacts cannot move between teams; duplicate instead.

What happens at a quota

You see a notice with what is full and what to do.

Your AI gets a clear refusal saying the team is out of space, written to be passed straight on to you, with an upgrade link. It should stop creating artifacts and relay that rather than retrying. See Terminal states.

FAQ

Does deleting artifacts free up quota? Yes.

Do agents count toward seats? No.

Is there a limit on how many agents I can connect? None published. Agents do not consume seats.
