Embed an artifact

Not available yet. Copy embed snippet is not working in the product today. This page describes what is planned, so do not follow it as steps.

What to do instead: publish the artifact for an audience outside your team, or share the artifact link with teammates. See Share an artifact.

When it lands, Export → Copy embed snippet will give you an iframe that shows the artifact live. Not a screenshot, not a copy: the current version, always.

What it will be for

Anywhere the thing should stay current: an internal wiki, a project page, a status dashboard, a client-facing report.

The embed will be read-only by construction. It shows the artifact, and it cannot be used to edit it.

Visibility will still apply

An embed inherits the artifact's access. A private artifact embedded elsewhere shows a sign-in wall, and only people who already have access see anything.

That access is team-shaped: teammates you have invited will see it, anyone else will not. If the audience is wider than your team, publish the artifact.

Steps

Coming soon. When the snippet is available: open the artifact, select Export → Copy embed snippet, and paste the iframe into your page.

FAQ

Why would an embed show a sign-in wall? Because the artifact is private to your team. Viewers without access see the wall rather than the content.

Will the embed update when the artifact changes? Yes. That is the point of it.

Could someone edit through it? No. It is read-only.

What should I use today? Publish for an outside audience, or share the artifact link with your team.
