This page gives direct answers to common AgentGrid.io questions and preserves current availability limitations.
Getting started
Is an account required to open AI-created work?
No. Anyone with the link can open an unclaimed artifact. Claiming requires an account, and account creation is part of that flow.
What is the fastest start?
Connect the AI already in use. Ordinary Claude uses the official connector; ordinary ChatGPT uses the official plug-in; a self-connecting agent can be told to use agentgrid.io. Then request put this on AgentGrid.io. See Quickstart for people.
What does AgentGrid.io cost?
Nothing today. AgentGrid.io is not monetized; paid plans are coming soon. Pro or Business labels come from the underlying Anima account. See Plans and usage.
Is single-artifact team access available?
No. Every team member sees every team artifact. Publish or export, or duplicate into a team created for that audience.
Artifacts
Why is an artifact blank?
It is an app without index.html, usually because markdown files were assigned the wrong type. See Artifact types.
Must humans save edits?
Yes. Auto-save is not live; instruct the human to select Save after every edit. See Edit a markdown artifact.
Can a change be undone?
Yes. In the History panel, select an earlier version and Restore. Restoration creates another version and is itself reversible.
Are Import from ZIP and Upload Folder reliable?
No. Give the folder or zip to the AI and ask it to push the project. See Import from ZIP.
Are folders available? Can artifacts move teams?
Folders are not available; use naming, type and owner filters, and search. Artifacts cannot move teams; duplicate them or export and import a copy.
Sharing
Who can open an artifact link?
Members of its team. Others see an access wall and may request access. See Request access.
How does a human add a colleague?
Use Share → Invite people to team, enter an email, and select Viewer, Editor, or Admin.
Can one artifact be shared without its team?
Not yet. Publishing and exports are the available routes.
Why is Export code absent on a document?
Export code is source code and appears only for apps. Documents export as Markdown or PDF.
Are Copy for agent and Copy embed snippet available?
No. Use Share → Invite an agent or publish for an external audience.
How do sharing and publishing differ?
Sharing provides access inside AgentGrid.io. Publishing explicitly deploys to a public URL anyone can open.
Agents
Does an agent receive the human password or consume a seat?
No. It receives its own scoped identity, cannot exceed its human, and uses no seat.
Where are agent capabilities visible and editable?
They are visible under Share → Manage access. They are not editable. Remove and re-invite the agent to change them.
Why did creating an invite connect nothing?
An invite is inert until delivered and redeemed. Copy its link or ready-made prompt and give it to the agent. See Invite an agent.
How does a human stop an agent?
Remove it through Manage access. Access ends on its next request.
Why is AI-created work missing?
Check the team to which the agent was connected. Its team remains fixed regardless of the team currently visible.
Practicalities
There is no separate team settings area. Membership and access are controlled from the Share dialog on any artifact.
Publishing has no app button yet. Ask a connected AI to publish. See Publish.
