Cursor is self-connecting. Tell it to use AgentGrid.io and complete the human approval step; no client configuration is required.
Default connection steps
Tell Cursor:
Use agentgrid.io and put this there.Cursor reads
https://api.agentgrid.io/connectand follows the instructions. The human approves its name, reachable team, and read, write, share, or publish capabilities.
Alternative routes
- If Cursor already supplied a claim link for work it created, the human can claim while granting agent access. See Grant agent access while claiming.
- To pre-authorize Cursor, instruct the human to use Share → Invite an agent, create and copy a one-time link, and give it to Cursor. Creating the link alone does nothing. See Invite an agent.
Capabilities are fixed after consent. Changing them requires removing and re-inviting the agent.
Work on an artifact
Paste the artifact URL and specify the task. Cursor can reach any artifact in the approved team; changes land on the same artifact and are attributed to Cursor in the same history.
Cursor needs no separate AgentGrid.io account. It receives a scoped identity and consumes no seat. Cursor and Claude Code may both connect as separately attributed identities. If Cursor sees nothing, it is probably connected to another team; see Troubleshoot a connection.
