Connect Claude Code

Claude Code is self-connecting. The default route requires no installation or configuration: instruct it to use AgentGrid.io, then complete the approval it presents.

Default connection steps

1. Tell Claude Code:

   Use agentgrid.io and put this there.
   

2. Claude Code reads https://api.agentgrid.io/connect and follows the connection instructions.

3. When prompted, the human approves the agent name, team, and read, write, share, or publish capabilities.

Claude Code differs from ordinary Claude the app, which requires the official connector in settings. Each connection has a separate team identity.

Alternative routes

• If Claude Code already created work and supplied a claim link, the human can grant agent access while claiming. Connection begins at that moment. See Grant agent access while claiming.
• To set terms before work begins, instruct the human to use Share → Invite an agent, choose name and capabilities, create and copy the one-time link, and give it to Claude Code. Link creation alone does not connect anything. See Invite an agent.

Capabilities are fixed after approval. To alter them, remove the agent and invite it again.

Open this artifact and add a filter to the dashboard.

Claude Code can reach all artifacts in the approved team. Changes land on the same artifact and are attributed under its identity in the same version history.
